Chicagoland Speedway is now offering even more opportunities for race fans to enjoy the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup weekend. On Saturday, September 19, fans with a Fan Zone Pit Pass, and accompanying grandstand or infield camping admission, will have the exclusive opportunity to experience the NASCAR XFINITY Series garages, providing a unique and educational experience. Winning in your home state in front of family and friends is a big deal and that’s exactly what Westminster, VA native, Sergio Pena did this weekend with Rev Racing in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, Biscuitville 125 at VIRginia International Raceway. It was a thrilling finish and in the end he had to battle his way to victory.

Behind the wheel of the No. 42 – for Rev Racing’s Jay Beasley, who is out for medical reasons – Pena was able to take advantage of the misfortunes of a couple of his competitors and was in the right place at the right time, giving him his chance to cross the finish line first.  Continue reading →

Two of the biggest names in the NHRA include Brittany and Ashley Force and now with the Traxxas Nitro Shootout, they need the support of their fans. They want their Monster Energy Top Fuel team and their Traxxas Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car team to secure the last spots in the field for the Top Fuel and Funny Car division.  Both drivers are successful, but they are not one of the first seven pro drivers to find nitro victories this season. Erik Jones Cruises to Victory in Canada and Takes the Points Lead

Two weeks ago in the NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Alex Tagliani got turned out of the lead by Regan Smith and lost his shot at a win. Sunday afternoon in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Chevrolet Silverado 250 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, Tagliani passed up his chance as the one doing the turning.

Heading into turn 5B on the last lap, Tagliani says he was in a position to push Erik Jones aside and claim victory for himself. But he didn’t. Instead, Tagliani held back as Jones cruised to his second win of the season and vaulted to the top of the series point standings. Continue reading →
