After a few weeks off, the NASCAR XFINITY Series returns to action at Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Hisense 4K TV 300 at 1 pm ET on FOX Sports 1, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio this Saturday, May 27.

Kyle Larson isn’t very good at Richmond—and isn’t bashful about saying so.
Nevertheless, when two late restarts played out at the 0.75-mile short track, Larson was the race winner in overtime, and Allgaier was a disappointed second, consoled only by the $100,000 check he collected as the winner of the XFINITY Dash 4 Cash bonus as the highest finishing series regular. About the only thing Kyle Busch didn’t win on Saturday was the one prize he wasn’t eligible for.
But the driver of the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota won everything else, capping a phenomenal day at Indianapolis Motor Speedway with a victory in the Lilly Diabetes 250 NASCAR XFINITY Series race—and he did so with tires that were 23 laps older than those of his pursuers. Continue reading

There’s some NASCAR history behind JD Motorsports with Gary Keller and as happens so often, that history is an interesting part of their NASCAR inter-woven fabric that has led them to what the organization is today.
This season, the organization has fielded three cars, the No. 01 with Landon Cassill, the No. 4 with Ross Chastain and the No. 0 with Harrison Rhodes. Other drivers behind the wheel of their cars this season include, ARCA Racing Series veteran Bobby Gerhart, a former K&N West winning driver, Michael Self, and GTS Champion Lawson Aschenbach.
However, it is co-owner and founder Johnny Davis, as in the ‘JD’ in JD Motorsports with Gary Keller with an interesting story behind their organization as they head into the last race of their 2015 season at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
