Julia Landauer and her team owner, Bill McAnally are our guests on Fan4Racing NASCAR & Race Talk on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 9 and 9:30 pm ET. Call 929-477-1790 or tweet @Fan4RacingSite or @Sal_Sigala with any questions or comments during our LIVE broadcast.

Not a typical racer, Julia Landauer is from New York, NY and has her degree in Science, Technology and Society from Stanford University. In that program, Landauer studied business, engineering, marketing, and how modern technology applies to racing. This year she is racing her NASCAR K&N Pro Series West rookie season with Bill McAnally Racing and in her first two races she has two top-ten finishes at Irwindale Speedway and Kern County Raceway.

The season for Bill McAnally Racing has started on a high note with all four of his drivers ranked in the top-ten K&N West point standings. Todd Gilliland is making K&N Pro Series West history by winning four consecutive races, matching a 50-year-old record set by International Hall of Famer, Dan Gurney. Teammate and last year’s K&N Pro Series West champion Chris Eggleston is now third in the series point standings, while teammates and K&N West rookies, Riley Herbst is fourth and Landauer is eighth.

Landauer returns to Bill McAnally Racing this year after racing a handful of NASCAR Whelen All-American Series races in 2009. Racing started at the age of ten for Landauer and her diverse career includes racing formula BMR, Ford Focus Midgets and Legends. At the age of 14, Landauer made history as the youngest and first female winning her first championship with the Skip Barber Racing Series. Then last year, Landauer won the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series, Limited Late Model division championship at Motor Mile Speedway in Radford, Virginia.

Now at the age of 24, Landauer has taken what she’s learned from school and within the racing industry to build her brand, as she has a deep understanding of how technology, community and racing all fuse together. Landauer has a perfect combination of knowledge, personality and experience, earning her many speaking engagements and bringing new fans to the sport of racing.

Now living in North Carolina, Landauer continues her racing career with Bill McAnally Racing, and goes beyond, using her racing platform advocating for STEM education, women’s empowerment, and for following dreams despite the hurdles.

Fans can watch the Bill McAnally Racing teams in the NAPA Auto Parts 150 at Kern County Raceway on NBC Sports Network on April 8th at 11 pm ET. The next K&N Pro Series West race is at Tucson Speedway on May 7th.
