Carrying momentum from MDM Motorsports NASCAR K&N Pro Series East victory at Bristol last weekend, Travis Miller made it two in a row for MDM with his win at South Boston Speedway on Saturday night, earning his first career victory in the series.

A native of Chesapeake, Virginia, Miller started the WhosYourDriver.org Twin 100 in third place and quickly made his way to the front of the field. During a restart on lap 59, Miller took his No. 40 MDM Motorsports car to the lead after passing Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender Chase Purdy. Miller, making his season debut this weekend took the lead and never looked back, leading 40 laps of the 100-lap race.

“What a weekend for our team,” said Miller. “To win all three races we entered this weekend is incredible, and the fact that I was behind the wheel for one of them makes it even more special. I’m really looking forward to the remainder of the year, and I’m so proud of the effort of the guys here at MDM Motorsports.”

Taking third-place is NASCAR Next driver Todd Gilliland after starting the event in fifth-place. Dillon Bassett finished fourth with Harrison Burton finishing fifth. Burton went on to his second series victory of the season winning the next Twin 100 later on Saturday night.

After taking the pole position, Ruben Garcia Jr finished sixth, Chase Cabre in seventh, Jay Beasley, eighth, with Payton Sellers and Vinnie Miller finishing ninth and tenth.
