Gaining Experience at Daytona International Speedway

In January, Sanchez took part in the Daytona pre-season testing on the 2.5-mile oval in Daytona Beach, Florida. It was his first time on the huge track and coming to the test with a positive attitude, he was able to finish 12th in a field of 56 cars. Unfortunately, this past weekend in the ARCA season opener on the superspeedway, his race was cut short after just 27 laps. Caught up in a wreck, Sanchez found himself taken out of contention for the rest of the event. The disappointing 31st-place finish just means he’s anxious to get back on track for the next ARCA race at Phoenix in March.

Pumped for the ARCA Season

With the season just getting started and despite his Daytona disappointment, Sanchez is pumped about this year with Rev Racing.

“I could not be more excited to take this next step in my career,” says Sanchez. “The guys have worked extremely hard to prepare the…UTI/NTI Max Siegel Inc Chevrolet for the 2021 season. We will continue to focus on growth and build on the momentum we have continued to see over the last several years.”

A Stellar Career

In his debut season in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East in 2019, Sanchez put together two top-tens and a pole award in just three events. His first two victories came in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series at Langley Speedway and Myrtle Beach Speedway in the same year.

The NASCAR Drive for Diversity Youth Development Program alum competed in the 2017 and 2018 at the Bojangles’ Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Also in his 2018 Legend car season with Rev Racing, Sanchez earned five podium finishes, six top-fives, and one win in the Pro Series class.

Stay tuned and keep your eye on Nick Sanchez as he’s primed and ready for success in a competitive ARCA field.
