Chad Hackenbracht is an amazing young man and has been leaving his mark as he takes the necessary steps to climb the ladder to the NASCAR ranks of racing.. Chad presents himself as a racing veteran both on and off the track. His lifelong focus on racing has bred character, great drive and determination.
Chad’s Racing History From 2003 to 2006 Chad was busy honing his skills and further fueling his calling by racing in the Mid Western Quarter Midget association leaving many marks with wins, top-fives for all to follow.
Late during 2006 Chad made a move to the ever-growing Legend Car Series participating not only in the Charlotte, NC area but all over the country.
During 2006 Chad caught the eye of a Driver Development Service company and elected to participate in some of their services for a short time. Leaving their services late during 2007 and landing an opportunity with the CGH Motorsports team located in Concord, NC. Chad has found the move to be great for his career and development.
Chad finished third out of 600 drivers in national points. He is National Asphalt Champion with his win at Elko, MN last fall and State Points Champion for Ohio.
Chad is catching the eyes of many as he is now in a full-size stock car racing beginning with the ARCA/REMAX Series in 2009. Chad recently excelled in a ARCA series stock car test under the watchful eyes of Rodney Jockish and Andy Hillenburg with the CGH team.
Within NASCAR, Chad Hackenbracht signed with Kyle Busch Motorsports, earlier this summer for four races in the No. 51 Toyota Camry for the Camping World Truck Series. This weekend’s Truck Series race is the second of four Truck Series events for the 21-year-old New Philadelphia, OH. Native, which also include: Texas Motor Speedway (June 7) Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Canada (Sept. 1) and Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway (Sept. 28).
“This is a huge opportunity for me, almost a one in a lifetime kind of thing,” said Hackenbracht. “To be a small part of Kyle Busch Motorsports and their quest to win an owner’s championship is a big step in my career. It’s not only a shot for me to showcase my talent and what I’m capable of doing; it’s an opportunity to be a part of something even bigger than me.”
“It means a ton for me to run for Kyle both as an owner and a teammate,” Hackenbracht continued. “…already he has been an open book and I’m confident that he will be a great teacher of these trucks and the tracks that I have minimal to no experience at. Kyle is a driver I’ve always looked up to and respected and this is a dream come true that I will not only be driving for him but sharing a truck with him as well.”
