Honorary Starter Beau Mirchoff to wave the green flag
Titan Gilroy, host of MAVTV’s ‘Titan: American Built,’ is the Grand Marshal for the MAVTV 500 IndyCar World Championships – the last race of the 2014 Verizon IndyCar Series under the lights at Auto Club Speedway on Saturday, August 30. As Grand Marshal, Gilroy will give the most famous command in motorsports ‘Drivers Start Your Engines.’
For the past twelve years, Gilroy has built up an enviable reputation as America’s premier precision machinist determined to put American manufacturing back on top of the world in aerospace, military and automotive manufacturing.
‘Titan: American Built’ is the name of Gilroy’s patriotic, one hour new series debuting on MAVTV, Friday, October 3 with a two-hour special at 6 to 8 pm ET. Each week the series will show Titan America’s machine shop expertise outperforming the competition at a faster rate with higher tolerances. When everyone else falls ‘Titan’ produces the world’s most intricate parts and takes on jobs that other companies think are impossible.
Beau Mirchoff, star of the upcoming film, ‘Born to Race: Fast Track’ and MTV’s ‘Awkward’ is confirmed as Honorary Starter of the MAVTV 500. As Honorary Starter, Mirchoff will wave the green flag to get the MAVTV 500 underway.
Being no stranger to life in the fast lane, Mirchoff stars in ‘Born to Race: Fast Track,’ the second film in the ‘Born to Race’ franchise. Featuring ‘old school’ filmed-in-real-time, non-CGI enhanced race sequences. ‘Born to Race: Fast Track’ crosses the finish line on August 29 when it’s available for digital download on iTunes. The film is available on Blu-Ray, DVD and OnDemand on September 9.
