Indy, LOR, and Irwindale NASCAR Weekend Preview is presented by host Sharon Burton and co-host Jay Husmann. Join us as rev up NASCAR fans for the upcoming weekend of racing. Then stick around for Hot Topics Sound Off with co-host Andy Laskey and the Fan4Racing crew!

The Agenda

This episode centers around Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the NASCAR Cup Series including the NASCAR Xfinity Series on the Indianapolis Road Course. We’ll also preview the ARCA Menards Series at Lucas Oil Raceway along with Irwindale Speedway for the ARCA Menards Series West. We’ll include updates from the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series and the ARCA East, as well as pre-race audio as time permits.

  • First, we preview the ARCA West at Irwindale Speedway along with the ARCA race at Lucas Oil Raceway. We’ll include a few updates from the ARCA East. 
  • Next, we give some updates from the NASCAR Gander & RV Outdoors Truck Series.
  • Then, our preview continues with the NASCAR Xfinity Series race on the Road Course at Indianapolis
  • Then, we preview the NASCAR Cup Series at Indianapolis
  • Next is Hot Topics Sound Off with the Fan4Racing Crew.

NASCAR All-Star Race Format includes a chance to test the new ‘Choose Rule’ to add strategy to restarts at Bristol Motor Speedway later this month.

NASCAR and Bristol Motor Speedway have put together the format for the NASCAR All-Star Race, including the introduction of a ‘choose rule’ that will allow drivers to choose which lane they line up in for restarts.

The rule, which is popular among short track fans, will fittingly make its NASCAR national series debut during the first NASCAR All-Star Race held on a short track. NASCAR and Speedway Motorsports officials have previously announced the race is moving to Bristol from Charlotte Motor Speedway, which had hosted 34 of the race’s 35 previous editions.
