Blaine Perkins’ perfect day in the ARCA Menards Series West, ENEOS/NAPA Auto Parts 100 on Friday, August 7th at Evergreen Speedway ends with a victory.
Topping the chart in qualifying on Friday by just 0.002 seconds over his Sunrise Ford teammate Trevor Huddleston, Perkins won the General Tire Pole Award. As it turns out, that was as close as anyone could get to the 20-year-old from Bakersfield, California.
Perkins led wire-to-wire to win the ENEOS/NAPA Auto Parts 100 at Evergreen Speedway. The victory is the second ARCA Menards Series West win of the season for Perkins.
The ENEOS/NAPA Auto Parts 100 Results
Perkins’ No. 9 Sunrise Ford/Four Star Fruit Ford was the first to cross the finish line 0.931 seconds ahead of Huddleston, giving the Bob Bruncati teammates a one-two finish. Huddleston was the defending race winner and finished second for the second straight race in 2020.
The race was slowed just twice for debris, and each time, Perkins was able to take the lead on the restarts.
Bill McAnally Racing had the next four spots, with Gio Scelzi and Championship points leader Jesse Love finishing in fifth Finishing six and seventh were Gracie Trotter and Holley Hollan. Todd Souza, Jack Wood, and Takuma Koga round out the top-ten.

Perkins cut Love’s lead to just nine points, as the ARCA Menards Series West heads south for Saturday evening’s ENEOS/NAPA Auto Parts 150 at Douglas County Speedway in Roseburg, Oregon. Huddleston and Trotter are even for third place, at 28 points behind Love.
