Pepsi MAX Serves Up Free Food 
on the Spot for Race Fans and Daytona Beach Residents 
July 6-7, 2012

What: Pepsi MAX will dispatch two local food trucks, the Twisted Cuban and The Tree House Truck, to serve up free food in the Daytona Beach area on Friday, July 6 and Saturday, July 7 to launch their new summer program MAX It Now. Free food, Pepsi MAX, and cool prizes will be offered at the following locations, with new truck stops set to be announced on Twitter throughout the weekend. Follow @PepsiMAX for updates.

Why: To help kick off Pepsi MAX’s new summer challenge program MAX It Now, which launches on July 7, 2012.

In 1776, according to the US Census Bureau, the United States had an estimated population of 2.5 million people. This Fourth of July, more than 313.9 million people are living in the United States and many of them will be celebrating Independence Day.

An estimated 74 million Americans participated in a barbecue cookouts July 4, 2011.

According to the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council, Americans are expected to enjoy 150 million hot dogs today. That’s enough to stretch from Washington  DC to Los Angeles an amazing five times!

There are 121 million Americans who own an American flag.

The dollar value of US imports of American flags is indicated at $3.2 million and the vast majority of this amount – $2.8 million – was US flags made in China.

What about exported flags?  $486,026 is the dollar value of US Flags exported lst year and Mexico was the leading customer, purchasing $256,407 worth.

an amazing 68.3 million cases of beer is sold nationwide on July Fourth, for which Americans will spend $341 million. According to the Beer Institute, the Fourth of July is the top holiday for beer sales, followed by Labor Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day and Christmas.

The weight of fireworks used in the annual New York City fireworks display is 22 tons. Americans spend more than $600 million on fireworks each year.

The value of US manufacturers’ shipments of fireworks and pyrotechnics is $231.8 million.
An amazing 500,000 people attend the Washington DC Fourth of July celebration each year.

There are 31 places that have “liberty” in their names. Iowa with four, has more of these places than any other state – Libertyville, New Liberty, North Liberty and West Liberty.

There are 35 places using “eagle” in their names. The most populous one is Eagle Pass, Texas, with a population of 26,248.
The populous city using “independence” in their name is Independence, MO with a population of 116,830. There are only 11 places using “independence” in their names.

Places using “freedom” in their names are 9. The most populous one is New Freedom, PA, with a population of 4,464.

There is only 1 place that has “patriot” in it’s name – Patriot, IN has a population of 209.

There are 5 places that have “America” in their names, with the most populous one being American Fork, UT, with a population of 26,263.
