Multi-Platinum Quartet ‘The Tenors’ To Sing

National Anthem At Auto Club 400

The TenorsAuto Club Speedway announced today that Verve recording artists ‘The Tenors,’ will perform the National Anthem prior to the start of the Auto Club 400 Sprint Cup Series race at Auto Club Speedway on Sunday, March 24.  The race will be broadcast at Noon (PT) on FOX.

The multi-platinum-selling vocal group has performed their blend of classical and contemporary pop for audiences around the world. The group’s latest CD “Lead With Your Heart” was released via a U.S. deal with multi-Grammy® Award-winning producer David Foster, Chairman of Verve Music Group reaching #1 on Billboard’s Crossover chart.

In their short career, the Tenors (Remigio Pereira, Clifton Murray, Victor Micallef and Fraser Walters) have performed on The Oprah Winfrey Show (with Celine Dion), for Her Majesty The Queen during her Diamond Jubilee at Windsor Castle, the live broadcast of the 2011 Emmy® Awards in Los Angeles, at the opening ceremonies of Vancouver’s 2010 Olympics and for the NBA, MLB, and NHL All-Star Games.

They have rubbed shoulders with presidents and prime ministers, princesses and even shared a private tea with HM The Queen. They have shared the stage with Sarah McLachlan, Justin Bieber, Elton John and Paul McCartney, among others.

Kahne Captures Bristol Win

Just one week after Kasey Kahne was unable to pass Matt Kenseth for the win at Las Vegas and after a dominant day, Kahne pulled into victory lane at Bristol. Kahne didn’t have any challengers late in the race and that allowed him to cruise through the final fifty laps and take the win. Hendrick Motorsports has got the Gen 6 car figured out and that has given them a huge leg-up so far this season. Kahne was waiting for his opportunity to pounce after being so good so far this season and Bristol was his opportunity and he nailed it. Continue reading
