Making his second track début of the 2015 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season, Rookie of the Year contender, Cameron Hayley continues to impress in just his fifth start in the series at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday evening. On Friday, he was the fastest ThorSport Racing driver – 3rd (31.06 seconds) – in the only series practice session and then again in qualifying – 3rd (30.89 seconds) – on Saturday morning. Matt Crafton Annihilates the Field in Dominant Atlanta Truck Win

There’s no let up in Matt Crafton.

The two-time defending NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion, Crafton charged to the front from his 15th-place starting position and ran away from the rest of the field in Saturday’s Hyundai Construction Equipment 200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

At the end of a 74-lap green flag run—the longest in Camping World Truck Series history at Atlanta—Crafton crossed the finish line 8.752 seconds ahead of runner-up Ty Dillon. Keystone Light Polesitter Ben Kennedy came home third, a distant 10.275 seconds behind the race winner. Continue reading →

After a two-year hiatus, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series returns to Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday, Feb. 28. Ty Dillon, the 2013 series runner-up is expected to be the only previous winner returning for the Hyundai Construction 200 and is also the latest driver to capture a victory at the track (8/31/12). The Truck Series has not raced at Atlanta in March since 2010 when Kevin Harvick took the checkered flag from the fourth starting spot.
