With a commanding lead in the ARCA Racing Series point standings, Grant Enfinger with GMS Racing reinforced his intentions to become this season’s champion with a dominating Federated Auto Parts 200 win at Berlin Raceway on Saturday night. It boggles the mind that Mason Mitchell is racing part-time after winning the ARCA Racing Series 2014 championship. Last Friday night in his last scheduled race of the 2015 season, Mitchell won the #Thisismyspeedway 150 in front of his home town crowd at Iowa Speedway, showing he has what it takes, and deserves his chance at the next level of his career – NASCAR. One week ago Austin Wayne Self saw his first career win slip away due to a cut right rear tire in the closing laps at Chicagoland Speedway. Fast forward one week later and the driver of the No. 98 AM Technical Solutions-Pirate Energy Ford for Mason Mitchell Motorsports would not be denied victory. Self took the lead on a late race restart and led the last six laps en route to his first career win in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards at the Winchester Speedway. Continue reading
