Clint Elkins, grew up as a race track brat, traveling the short track circuit with his family throughout his childhood. By the time he was 15, he was writing race promotional business plans. Then the competition bug bit Elkins and he began racing Super Late Models in his 20s.
Elkins knew his ‘end game’ is promoting racing, so he made a mental and physical notebook of the good and the bad he experienced as a racer.
He put his money where his mouth is by the time he was 30 years old by leasing his own track. Six years into his venture, Elkins proudly says his track is up over 50 percent in attendance and over 100 percent in revenue. Continue reading
