Dalton Sargeant Comes Home Victorious from K&N West Season Opener

After finishing second in the K&N East season opener at New Smyrna in February, 17-year-old Dalton Sargeant is still smiling today after winning the K&N West season opener the NAPA Auto Parts 150 at Kern County Raceway on Saturday night.

In addition to his runner-up finish at New Smyrna, Sargeant also finished second in the 2014 Snowball Derby at Five-Flags Speedway in December and came home with a third place finish from the SRL Winter Showdown at Kern County Raceway last month. So, coming home to Boca Raton, FL with the trophy this weekend is just that much sweeter. Continue reading →

After a String of Seconds, Dalton Sargeant Brings Home a Victory

The No. 5s GALT, Wauters Motorsports team headed west with Dalton Sargeant to Bakersfield, California for the inaugural Winter Showdown from Kern County Raceway and finished in the second position.  The 16-year-old shocked the short track racing community once again by competing like a veteran, but ultimately finishing a mere five-car lengths short of the eventual winner, veteran Bubba Pollard in the 250-lap event.  The second-place finish was Sargeant’s third runner-up finishing position in four events.
