Last Thursday at Phoenix International Raceway, Brennan Newberry made his third start of the 2014 season after racing in two K&N Pro Series East events during Speedweeks. The K&N Pro Series West season opener, the Talking Stick Resort 75, is the first of 14 races on their schedule this year. Newberry plans to return for their next race at Phoenix on November 6, 2014. Wendell Scott Decal Sported by Four NASCAR Series at Phoenix

Since 2010, NASCAR has designated the first race weekend in March as a time to commemorate Wendell Scott’s first career start. Scott is the only African- American driver to win a Grand National (now Sprint Cup) Series event in NASCAR history.

Cars in all four NASCAR series competing at Phoenix International Raceway (NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, NASCAR Mexico Toyota Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series) will sport a commemorative decal.

The decals will be applied to the B or C post of each vehicle during the inspection processes throughout the entire weekend.
