The sanctioning body is levying penalties to two NASCAR Nationwide Series teams as a result of their involvement in separate post-race incidents following last Friday’s race at Richmond International Raceway.

All night long it was Brad Keselowski, Kevin Harvick, and Kyle Busch battling up-front. The drivers exchanged the lead multiple times over the course of the race. When it was all said and done, Keselowski emerged victorious. All three drivers held the lead at some point with less than 35 laps to go, but the last pass for the lead Keselowski made with ten laps to go led him to victory. A couple of NASCAR drivers who are used to driving race cars on backstretches and straightaways watched some sluggers drive baseballs into centerfield during Richmond International Raceway Night at The Diamond, Presented by AAA and the Richmond Flying Squirrels. Pit Stop Exhibit Now Open at CMoR Central Location

NASCAR K&N Pro Series East driver and Midlothian, VA native Sam Hunt and Richmond International Raceway got race week started by celebrating the opening of the Pit Stop exhibit at the Children’s Museum of Richmond’s Central Location (2626 W. Broad St., Richmond, VA 23220).
The event featured a Q&A and a special Story Time with Sam, as he read the book, Racer Buddies: Rematch at Richmond. Fans of all ages were able to tour Sam’s car hauler and see his race car that he’ll drive in Thursday’s BLUE OX 100. Continue reading →
