William Byron is our guest on Fan4Racing Fan2Fan NASCAR & Race Talk on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 9 pm ET. During the LIVE broadcast, call 714-202-9918 or tweet us @Fan4RacingSite or @Sal_Sigala your questions or comments.

Completing just one full year in the Legends car before winning the 2013 US Legends Young Lions Division National Championship, William Byron turned Pro in January of 2014. He won the 2014 Charlotte (NC) Winter Heat Series US Legends Pro Championship and was then crowned the Pro Legends Champion at Winter Nationals in Florida, taking a huge step in his young racing career.

Byron was signed by JR Motorsports in January of 2014 to compete regionally for NASCAR star Dale Earnhardt Jr’s late-model program. His late-model effort began at Hickory (NC) Speedway, with sponsor Liberty University, a residential and online university in Lynchburg, VA.

At 17 years of age, Byron is still in high school at Charlotte Country Day and has a keen understanding of how important it is to balance his education and his passion for racing.

This season, Byron is with H Scott Motorsports with Justin Marks, racing in the K&N East Series and competing for Rookie of the Year. With Liberty University still on his No. 9 car, and in his first series start at New Smyrna Speedway in February, Byron earned a top-ten finish, and is now seventh in the series point standings.

This weekend marks Byron’s second start in the K&N East Series at Greenville Pickens at 6:30 pm on April 4th.  Fans not able to attend the race can watch the NBCSN broadcast on Tuesday, April 7th at 6:30 pm ET.
