John Nicholson is an avid NASCAR fan and with roots from Massachusetts and Maine, he currently resides in Virginia. His first race was the Daytona 500 in 1993. Since then he’s been to many races and tracks, including Daytona, Loudon, New Hampshire, Dover, Pocono, Charlotte, Darlington, Richmond and Martinsville. John also loves the road course tracks and has attended races at Watkins Glen and hopes to one day attend a race at Sonoma. His favorite driver was Ricky Craven (now retired). Currently he is an avid follower of South Boston native Jeff Burton with Richard Childress Racing as his favorite team. John also enjoys kayaking, skiing and camping with a roaring fire. His other favorite sports teams include the Boston Red Sox and Celtics!
