Patrick Staropoli is 23-years-old and what many will find particularly interesting is that he is a summa cum laude – highest honors – graduate of Harvard University.  Staropoli has excelled in school earning a 3.94 GPA, inducted into Phi Beta Kappa fraternity and ranked in the top-ten percent of his class. Amazingly, he is now attending medical school at the University of Miami

Staropoli is taking the same skill and determination he uses in the classroom and applying it to his passion for racing. When competing in Florida, he serves as his own crew chief, constantly learning about the latest in chassis technology and applying it to the setup of his race car.

Earlier this year an ‘opportunity of a lifetime’ presented itself with Staropoli selected as one of only a few finalists and later the winner of the PEAK Stock Car Dream Challenge, earning him a place with Michael Waltrip Racing as their development driver.

Staropoli raced for Michael Waltrip Racing with PEAK as his sponsor in Spokane on August 24th and finished 5th. Everyone is very pleased with the run and there’s a good chance Staropoli and his team will be doing more races for them in the future.

Patrick Staropoli is our next guest on Fan4Racing Fan2Fan NASCAR-NHRA Talk, Monday, September 9th at 8:35pm ET.  Call 347-996-5176 to interact with Patrick Staropoli during the LIVE broadcast Q&A segment.
