NASCAR Star Ryan Newman’s Rescue Ranch Facility Gets “Tanked” on Animal Planet, Airing Friday, March 14th at 10:00 pm ET/PT

Animal Planet’s “TANKED” stars Wayde King and Brett Raymer head to Statesville, N.C., to help transform Richard Childress Racing driver Ryan Newman’s and his wife Krissie’s animal rescue facility, Rescue Ranch.

In this episode, the dynamic duo brings to life a functional aquatic reception desk at the ranch facility. For this pet-passionate couple, King and Raymer customize a multi-piece desk freshwater tank on site with handmade animal sculptures and coral along with an array of exotic fish. To pinpoint the theme, the duo recreates a variety of animals that are found at the center including a Bulldog, Golden Labrador, rabbits, turtles and snakes, as well as a life-like NASCAR helmet taking center stage that incorporates the sporty side of Newman.

The Newman’s great love for animals was the key reason they opened Rescue Ranch, a non-profit animal welfare organization.  Formed in January 2012, this one-of-a-kind facility strives to end pet overpopulation and associated suffering with protection and humane care.
