Once Ben Rhodes took the early lead at Langley Speedway, there was no looking back for the 17-year-old. Rhodes made it four-in-a-row in K&N East with a win at the Virginia short track Saturday night. His Turner Scott Motorsports teammate Scott Heckert won the pole and led the first 12 laps, before the points leader took full control of the race.

The 34 hung on the back bumper of the 41 car for a while, but then Kenzie Ruston passed Heckert on lap 85 to take the second spot. Ruston started to put some heat on the leader, but fell back to third after Cameron Hayley passed her for second.
Hayley would then try to mount a charge on Rhodes, but the closest he would get to the lead was three car lengths.

Second-place points driver Gray Gaulding had an electrical issue and forced him to go behind the wall for a little while. Gaulding finished 18th, eight laps down.
Hayley had to settle for second as Ruston, Heckert and Kaz Grala rounded out the top-five. Brandon Jones was in an early incident and rebounded for a sixth-place finish. Turner Scott Motorsports had a good night as their driver took five of the first six spots.
Rhodes ties Ricky Craven for the most consecutive wins in K&N Pro Series East with four.

The series heads next to the New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Friday, July 11.
