NASCAR Next driver, Jesse Little is making his first appearance of the 2015 season in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East for the PittLite 125 this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway. Last season, Little finished 13th at Bristol and looks to improve that finish this weekend.
The 2013 Sunoco Rookie of the Year, Little won the title by a mere three points over Kenzie Ruston and five points over Gray Gaulding. In 14 races, Little ended his first full season, ninth in the point standings with six top-tens and a best finish of third at Langley Speedway.
Little is the second member of his family to become the top rookie in K&N Pro Series action. His father, Chad Little, earned the rookie award in the K&N Pro Series West in 1986 and the overall series title in 1987 before going on to a career spanning more than a decade at the top levels of NASCAR racing.
“To race in the same series as my dad and to have a lot of the same people surrounding me that he did is pretty special,” Little said after earning the rookie title. “To have one of the same titles as him is even more special, and hopefully it’s not the last.”
Earning his first K&N East victory last season at New Hampshire, Little finished the season sixth in the series point standings. With 19 starts in 2014, Little had an impressive season with 13 top-tens, seven top-fives, two poles at Iowa and Dover and one win.

Little is racing a limited schedule in the K&N Pro Series while transitioning to the Camping World Truck Series in 2015. He is racing four Truck events with his début on May 29th at Dover.
