Ross Chastain is our guest on Fan4Racing NASCAR Weekend Preview, Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 9:30 pm ET. Call 929-477-1790 or tweet @Fan4RacingSite or @NASCARJason with any questions or comments during our LIVE broadcast.

Heading to his home state of Florida, Ross Chastain has had Daytona International Speedway circled on his calendar all season. In both NASCAR XFINITY Series races at the superspeedway last year, Chastain earned top-ten finishes.

This weekend in the Subway Firecracker 250, Chastain is driving the No. 4 for JD Motorsports with Gary Keller and he’s looking for redemption after finishing 22nd in the first race this year at Daytona in February.

“I love that track, and we usually have good cars there,” Chastain said of Daytona. “Anything can happen at that track. If you can stay in the lead draft, you’ve got a shot at doing something really big.”

With seven starts at Daytona, the Alva, Florida native enters this weekend 13th in the series’ point standings. This race is a big opportunity to pick up another top-ten finish at Chastain’s home state track, with his crew chief Bryan Barry.

At a track where anything can and does happen, this is a do not miss event over the Fourth of July race weekend.

Catch the XFINITY Series practice for the Subway Firecracker 250 at 2 and 4 pm ET today. Qualifying is at 2:10 pm ET on Friday, July 1st, with the race to follow at 7:30 pm ET on NBC Sports Network.
