Elliott Poised for First Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Win at Texas

After making the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs as a rookie in 2016, talented 21-year-old Chase Elliott has raised his performance in his sophomore season.

He’s produced three top-five finishes in six starts this year and ranks second in the series standings, a mere four points behind fellow young star Kyle Larson. Continue reading

William Byron Sets Sights on First Win

William Byron has always been a quick study. He won four races as a rookie on his way to the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East championship in 2015. Last year, he set the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series rookie record with seven victories. The 19-year-old Charlotte native was also a straight-A student in high school and is finishing up his sophomore year at Liberty University. Continue reading

A.J. Foyt Honored with Spirit of Ford Award

A.J. Foyt, one of the most legendary American drivers in history, was presented with the prestigious Spirit of Ford Award in a ceremony at the Road Racing Driver’s Club dinner last evening.

The Spirit of Ford Award is Ford Motor Company’s highest honor in auto racing, recognizing lifetime achievement and contribution to the industry both on and off the race track. Foyt becomes the 26th recipient, joining an international list of honorees from all forms of racing and racing media. Continue reading
