Looking toward another year with Rev Racing in 2018, Chase Cabre has earned several milestones throughout his NASCAR K&N Pro Series East season in 2017. This spring, he earned recognition as part of the 2017 NASCAR Next class and this fall, he was again selected as part of NASCAR’s 2018 Drive for Diversity class.
Cabre gained attention after winning 12 races in 21 starts in the 600 Mini-Sprint series from 2011 through 2013. In addition to racing the K&N Pro Series this season, he has track time behind the wheel of NASCAR’s Whelen All-American Series, becoming a two-time champion in Fall Brawl at Florida’s Ocala Bullring. Last year, at Hickory Motor Speedway, Cabre averaged a fourth-place finish, as well as earning two poles throughout the season.
Behind the wheel of his Rev Racing No. 4 in this season’s K&N Pro Series East, 20-year-old, Cabre from Tampa, Florida finished sixth overall and was the Sunoco Rookie of the Year runner-up. He earned two 21 Means 21 Pole Awards along with four top-fives and seven top-tens in 14 starts.
NASCAR has tabbed Cabre as a driver to watch with his recognition in this season NASCAR Next program honoring up and coming drivers as future stars of the sport. Entering his second season as part of NASCAR’s Drive for Diversity with Rev Racing in 2018, his experience in the K&N Pro Series East will also make him a driver to keep an eye on as he continues his rising career.
