Teaming up with Matt Scott from the Pacific Coast Challenge Series, James Bickford is returning to racing in the Super Late Model series in the No. 35 on June 23rd at Shasta Speedway in Anderson, CA. Scott finished tenth in the overall series’ point standings in 2017. 

A veteran of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series in 2014 and 2015, Bickford has earned two victories in the No. 6 Sunrise Ford with Bob Bruncati.  Also, an alumnus of the NASCAR Next initiative, Bickford’s last trip to Shasta was in 2015 in the K&N Pro Series West when he qualified and finished runner-up after leading a number of laps.

Now Bickford is looking forward to returning to racing with Scott in the No. 35 car at Shasta Speedway in June along with sponsors Slidebelts and Kamps Propane.

“I am incredibly excited to be back behind the wheel of a stock car and to be partnered with such amazing brands as Slidebelts and Kamps Propane,” says Bickford.

A veteran of the Pacific Coast Challenge Series, Scott has 16 starts over the last five seasons with nine top-five finishes.

“I am really excited to be working with James this season,” says Scott. “He was our first choice when thinking of teammates for the 35 Kamps Propane car. I can’t wait to see what this season has in store.”
