Dylan Lupton is our guest on Fan4Racing NASCAR & Race Talk Review at 9 pm ET on Monday, July 15, 2019. Call 929-477-1790 or tweet @Fan4RacingSite with any questions or comments during our LIVE broadcast.

Racing just six NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series races with DGR Crosley this season, Dylan Lupton is making the most of his limited schedule. At Chicagoland Speedway he finished tenth and in his second race this weekend at Kentucky Speedway he came home with a top-five finish. With four more events on his schedule, Lupton is riding a nice wave of momentum that will surely be fun to watch.

Next on Lupton’s schedule is Bristol in August, then Las Vegas in September and closing out his season is Phoenix and Homestead-Miami in November. An Alumnus of the NASCAR Next program, Lupton has -taken part in all three of NASCAR’s top-three series, as well as, the K&N Pro Series and ARCA Menards Series. In 33 starts in the K&N Pro Series, Lupton has an impressive two victories, 14 top-five, and 27 top-ten finishes.

Lupton is thrilled to have the chance to race with DGR Crosley this season and if he reaches his goal, it could make a huge impact on playoff hopefuls in the series.

“DGR-Crosley has proven to be a very competitive team in the series in a short amount of time, and I believe we will be contending for wins throughout my schedule.”

The mutual respect is apparent as David Gilliland, a team owner with DGR Crosley is also happy to have Lupton as a part of his organization.

“We were super excited when we got the call that Dylan wanted to do some races with us,” said DGR-Crosley team co-owner David Gilliland. “His experience across multiple levels of racing is going to be a huge asset as we go to some of these tracks through the summer and fall months. I know that Dylan has the talent to run up front and I’m looking forward to working with him. I feel confident that we will put together some strong finishes with him this season.”

In addition to Lupton’s racing experience, he graduated in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from the University of North Carolina Charlotte.

“Even though I have experience in all of NASCAR’s top three series, I don’t have that many Gander Outdoor Truck Series starts,” he remarked. “I’m eager to learn from people like David [Gilliland] to strengthen my racing resume and becoming an asset to the DGR-Crosley organization.”

Well, this season Lupton will have a few more Truck Series starts under his belt and maybe he’ll get that chance to celebrate in Victory Lane with his DGR Crosley team. For fans, he’ll be one to watch as the regular season winds down and the playoffs begin.
