Lowe’s Home Improvement isn’t going anywhere in 2014. Jimmie Johnson has been sponsored by Lowe’s his entire Sprint Cup series career and the company doesn’t look to be going anywhere.
During the Chevrolet SS unveiling at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, Rick Hendrick, owner of Hendrick Motorsports, was asked about rumors that Lowe’s would not be returning to his organization. A new deal between Lowe’s and Hendrick Motorsports has not been signed but both sides are confident they will be together in 2014.
“We’ve got a verbal,” Hendrick stated. “We’ll button it up, but it’s early.”
Jimmie Johnson fans, don’t worry, the blue and white colors won’t be changing anytime soon.
