As the old saying goes, “To be the best, you have to beat the best,” so NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers will have their work cut out for them as a number of NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stars have entered Saturday’s Sam’s Town 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

NASCAR Nationwide Series regulars will have to outrun the likes of defending NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Brad Keselowski, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and hometown hero Kyle Busch if they hope to take home the lion’s share of the Sam’s Town 300 purse. Continue reading →

Kobalt Social Media Command Center to debut NASCAR Weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Las Vegas Motor Speedway is taking social networking to a new level with the brand-new Kobalt Social Media Command Center during the March 7-10 NASCAR Weekend.

The social media hub, located in the Neon Garage, will host computers accompanied by large video monitors and screens that will give fans a live view of social networking by some of the top personalities in NASCAR. Guests from Team Lowe’s Racing, NASCAR, LVMS, Sprint and news media will take seats regularly in the command center to communicate with fans and share real-time information throughout the weekend. Feeds from drivers, fans, race teams and sponsors will be tracked and displayed on monitors from the second floor of the Neon Garage. Continue reading →

Edwards Breaks Winless Streak in the Desert

It took almost two years but, Carl Edwards finally got back to victory lane Sunday afternoon in Phoenix. Edwards stayed up front for most of the race and he controlled the final seventy laps from the lead. Next week at Las Vegas would have been the two-year mark since Edwards’ last win but, now that stat is thrown out the window since Edwards has finally got back to victory lane. The race played out fairly calm but, definitely competitive and the last restart with two to go was stand-on-your-feet worthy. Continue reading →

Starting at 8:30pm ET with our guest Sergio Pena, fans will have a chance to interact and ask questions. Sergio Pena, has been featured on SPEED’s Race Hub and has participated in NASCAR’s Drive for Diversity program. Also joining us at 8:30pm ET is our media guest Brian Berg Jr from Rant Sports.

At 9:00pm ET our media guest Jim Utter, from The Charlotte Observer and That’s Racin’ will join our Fan4Racing team discussion and again fans will have a chance to interact with our guest.
