On their last short track race on the season, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Spencer Gallagher and his GMS Team made the most of a challenging day by racing his No. 23 into the top-ten and as high as third before a late race incident and battery issues at Martinsville Speedway on Saturday afternoon.

Gallagher started the Kroger  from 20th-place, with typical Martinsville racing and early cautions. During  the second caution flag on lap 35, Gallagher brought the No. 23 on pit road with the crew taking care of a tight on exit on throttle issue with four tires and a track bar adjustment. Although the tight condition was still present, a rare forward bite allowed Gallagher to race his way to 13th by the fourth caution on lap 74.  Continue reading →

We’re chatting about all the hottest topics and what fans can expect at the track over the upcoming weekend of racing at Martinsville Speedway for the seventh race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series,as well as the Camping World Trucks Series. The XFINITY Series and the K&N Pro Series West teams return to action in November.
