Cassidy, Seigler Take Key International Posts;

Kennedy Assumes Camping World Truck Series Leadership Role

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Jan. 30, 2018) – NASCAR today announced key leadership appointments across its growing international business landscape and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Jim Cassidy has been named to the new leadership position of Chief International Officer, reporting to Steve O’Donnell, Executive Vice President, and Chief Racing Development Officer.  Charged with growing the NASCAR brand of racing internationally, Cassidy will oversee all international competition and commercial operations, building on the success of NASCAR’s three international series with the NASCAR Pinty’s Series in Canada, NASCAR PEAK Mexico Series, and NASCAR Whelen Euro Series. Moving his career to the next level, Vinnie Miller is racing the NASCAR XFINITY Series full-time in 2018 for JD Motorsports with Gary Keller. Early next week, expect more news about this No. 01 team.

Last season, Miller raced late models in NASCAR’s K&N Pro Series and the ARCA Racing Series for MDM Motorsports. In six K&N East events, Miller posted one top-five and two top-ten finishes. With just five ARCA starts in 2017, he has four top-tens with a career-best result at Iowa Speedway of sixth. Continue reading →
