It’s been a banner weekend for Daniel Hemric at Chicagoland Speedway. In Friday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race, Hemric earned a career-best second place finish in the No. 19 DrawTite Ford for Brad Keselowski Racing. A model of consistency in the Truck Series in 2016, with eight top-five and 13 top-ten results, the Kannapolis, NC native earned a berth in the inaugural Truck Series Chase.

On Saturday morning, Richard Childress Racing announced they signed Hemric to a multi-year agreement to drive full-time in the NASCAR XFINITY Series beginning with the 2017 season. Continue reading

Byron Captures Fourth Win, KBM’s Record 51st Victory At Kentucky

William Byron led a race-high 70 laps on his way to his Camping World Truck Series-high fourth victory of the season in last Friday’s Buckle Up In Your Truck 225 at Kentucky Speedway. Byron’s triumph was the 51st Camping World Truck Series win for Kyle Busch Motorsports, which surpassed Roush Fenway Racing (50) for the most wins in series history. Continue reading

Byron Blurs to Second Win at Texas

The record for youngest Texas winner fell for the second consecutive race after William Byron darted by Matt Crafton with five laps remaining to win the Rattlesnake 400 at Texas Motor Speedway last Friday.

Byron, 18 years, 6 months, 12 days old, surpassed last November’s winner Erik Jones at 19 years, 5 months, 7 days as the most youthful race winner at the 1.5-track. Continue reading

Crafton Cruises to Second Consecutive Win

Matt Crafton led a race-high 47 laps in last Saturday’s North Carolina Education Lottery 200 to cruise to his second consecutive NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory.

The ThorSport Racing driver, who leads the points standings, is the first driver on the circuit to log multiple victories this season. He has totaled at least two wins in his last three campaigns. Continue reading

The Kyle Busch Motorsports driver captured his first win in only his fifth career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start. Byron, who led the first 33 laps of his career earlier in the race, retook the point on the last go-around of NASCAR Overtime to take the victory that virtually guarantees him a spot in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Chase.
