Five Flags Speedway is just four hours away from ARCA Menards Series’ driver Bret Holmes hometown and is the track where he cut his teeth for his racing career. He’s raced late-models there winning the track pro-late-model championship in 2016. Along with racing the Snowflake 100, Holmes has also raced the premier late-model event the Snowball Derby finishing third to Chase Elliott and John Hunter Nemechek. So with the ARCA Menards Series’ return to Five Flags Speedway this weekend, Holmes feels like he’s returning home.

Brandon McReynolds Leads ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards Practice at Daytona

Brandon McReynolds (No. 28 KBR Development Toyota) led Thursday’s two-hour practice session for Saturday’s ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards Lucas Oil 200 driven by General Tire at Daytona International Speedway. McReynolds, son of NASCAR on Fox analyst Larry McReynolds, turned a fast lap 49.014 seconds/183.621 miles per hour.
