Penalty to Johnny Sauter Makes a Talladega Winner of Spencer Boyd

TALLADEGA, Ala. – Johnny Sauter did a celebratory burnout. He collected the checkered flag from the flag stand at Talladega Superspeedway.

But Sauter didn’t win Saturday’s Sugarland Shine 250 NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series Playoff race at the 2.66-mile track. A penalty for blocking Riley Herbst below the yellow line in the final 200 yards of the event cost Sauter the victory and made an unlikely winner of Spencer Boyd.

Ty Majeski Fastest at Chicagoland Speedway with Hometown Team in the Mix

At the top of the ARCA Menards Series, practice speed chart at Chicagoland Speedway is Chad Bryant Racing’s No. 22 with Ty Majeski’s right foot pushing him to a lap of 30.52, equaling a speed of 176.933. Teammate Joe Graf Jr in the No. 77 clocked in 20th but that was after the team thrashed to get the backup car out on the track just in time to turn a lap and be eligible for qualifying coming up at 5:35 pm ET

Ty Majeski Scores Second Straight ARCA Victory at Pocono

Ty Majeski (No. 22 Crestliner Ford) scored his second consecutive ARCA Menards Series victory in come-from-behind fashion in Friday’s General Tire #AnywhereIsPossible 200 at Pocono Raceway. Majeski trailed race leader Riley Herbst (No. 18 Monster Energy/ORCA Coolers/Terrible Herbst/Advance Auto Parts Toyota) by nearly twenty seconds prior to the only caution of the afternoon but was able to stay in contact with him after the race went back green. Majeski was able to get off pit road quicker than Herbst with 12 laps remaining and was able to lead the rest of the way for the win.

Andy Seuss Leads ARCA Final Practice at Daytona

Andy Seuss (No. 02 Robert B. Our Company Chevrolet) led Friday’s final practice for the Lucas Oil 200 driven by General Tire for the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards at Daytona International Speedway. Seuss’s fast lap came late in the session when he hooked up in a multiple car draft. He timed in at 49.437 seconds/182.050 miles per hour.
