Second Career K&N East Win For D4D, NASCAR Next Driver

Offseason did nothing to slow Daniel Suárez’s momentum.

The Monterrey, Mexico, driver held off Cameron Hayley in a door-to-door battle of NASCAR’s rising stars to win the New Smyrna 150 presented by JEGS Sunday night at New Smyrna Speedway. Cameron Hayley Earns First Points Win at All American Speedway

Cameron Hayley earns his first career K&N Pro Series West Win

It was an exciting finish with Cameron Hayley dueling it out with race leader Derek Thorn after the ninth and last restart of the Toyota/NAPA Auto Parts 150 Saturday night at All American Speedway, and earning his first career NASCAR K&N Pro Series West victory.

The 17-year-old Hayley from Calgary, Alberta, battled Thorn for the last five laps and made an impressive move on the outside to take the lead with four laps remaining to capture his first win in a championship points race.

For Hayley it was a breakthrough victory, in his 32nd career start and after five runner-up finishes.  Continue reading
