Petty Holdings Renews Partnership with Daytona International Speedway

Petty Holdings, LLC. has renewed its partnership with Daytona International Speedway designating Richard Petty Driving Experience as the exclusive consumer NASCAR ride-and-drive program at the “World Center of Racing.” The multi-year agreement also includes Petty’s newly launched Exotic Driving Experience (EDE).  Financial terms were not disclosed. (GET) (OTC Bulletin Board: GETG), naming the Florida-based makers of G-OIL®, the first bio-based full synthetic oil used in NASCAR competition, as the “Official Motor Oil” of Daytona International Speedway and the Daytona 500.

G-OIL made NASCAR history here at Daytona International Speedway in February 2012 when the TriStar Motorsports Toyota Camry driven by Tayler Malsam finished sixth in the DRIVE4COPD 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series event. G-OIL is the world’s first and only bio-based fully synthetic motor oil to receive American Petroleum Institute certification. Continue reading

Fans Determine Rules forThe Sprint Unlimited

Sprint_Unlimited_Flag2For the first time ever in NASCAR history, fans determine the rules of Daytona’s Shootout – The Sprint Unlimited.

NASCAR is giving fans the choice in what happens at the Sprint Unlimited, formally the Budweiser Shootout. Fan votes will ultimately determine the format of the Sprint Unlimited, which kicks off Budweiser Speedweeks in Daytona on Saturday, Feb 16, 2013. Fans get to determine three aspects of the race including length of segments, pit stops, and elimination. As a bonus, people can also vote between three different fire suits that Miss Sprint Cup will where in victory lane. Continue reading
