After a two-year hiatus, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series returns to Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday, Feb. 28. Ty Dillon, the 2013 series runner-up is expected to be the only previous winner returning for the Hyundai Construction 200 and is also the latest driver to capture a victory at the track (8/31/12). The Truck Series has not raced at Atlanta in March since 2010 when Kevin Harvick took the checkered flag from the fourth starting spot. Tyler Reddick survives wild scramble to win Daytona Truck race

As trucks fanned out four-wide behind him, Tyler Reddick took the first checkered flag of this NASCAR Camping World Truck Series career in Friday night’s NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona International Speedway.

Behind the race winner, Erik Jones charged to the outside to grab the runner-up spot, followed by Scott Lagasse Jr. and Austin Theriault, Reddick’s Brad Keselowski Racing Teammate.

Crafton Begins Quest For Three-Peat

Matt Crafton ran away with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship last season to become the first driver to win consecutive titles in its 20-year history. The No.88 ThorSport Racing driver visits Daytona on Friday for the first stop on his quest for a three-peat – the NextEra Energy Resources 250 (7:30 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1). Erik Jones repeats in Phoenix truck race as second power failure halts action

With lights flickering around Phoenix International Raceway, polesitter Erik Jones won Friday night’s Lucas Oil 150 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race when the second power failure of the evening halted the race after 126 of the a scheduled 150 laps.

The clear class of the field, Jones led 114 of those 126 laps. Though the lights came back on after the second stoppage, NASCAR called the race because of the possibility that the power would fail again while the trucks were racing at full speed, as had just happened on Lap 124. Continue reading →
