NASCAR XFINITY Series teams are racing the US Cellular 250 at Iowa Speedway on Saturday, July 29th at 3:30 pm ET. Coverage begins at 3 pm ET on NBC, MRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

Drivers will race  218.75 miles over 250 laps with Stage 1 ending on lap 60, Stage 2 on lap 120, and the last stage ending on the last lap 250. Continue reading

Earnhardt Exits Brickyard Early after Chain-Reaction Crash

Trevor Bayne Comes Tantalizingly Close to Victory

Roush Fenway Racing driver Trevor Bayne had a realistic chance to win for the first time since his stunning triumph in the 2011 Daytona 500.

With 11 laps left in Sunday’s Brantley Gilbert Big Machine Brickyard 400, Bayne was running third behind Brad Keselowski and Jimmie Johnson, but those two drivers were running short on fuel, and pit stops were imminent. Continue reading

Kasey Kahne Snatches Improbable Victory at the Brickyard

In semi-darkness, as the sun set behind the front-stretch grandstand at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Kasey Kahne did all he could to dispel the shadow overhanging his Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season and his racing career.

With a phenomenal restart in the second overtime of Sunday’s Brantley Gilbert Big Machine Brickyard 400, Kahne cleared race leader Brad Keselowski through the first two corners and crossed the overtime line on the backstretch before NASCAR called the record 14th caution of the race. Continue reading
