NASCAR Makes Rule Change

NASCAR has updated a pit road rule change for the 2013 season. The gas man’s role will change again.

Beginning in 2011, NASCAR removed the catch can in favor of a self-venting gas can. The change did not only affect the way the gas is distributed in the car but also the gas man’s duties. When the catch can was removed, the gas man now had an additional part to his job, making adjustments on the car. Continue reading

Out of all seven seasons I have been a NASCAR fan, 2012 went the fastest. It seems like yesterday it was Daytona 500 weekend and the hype of the new season was at its highest. Well now the season has ended, we have a new champion and we can reflect on an incredible season.  The 2012 season may not have been as exciting as the 2011 season but it was definitely incredible.
