Surprisingly it was just last year, that Chase Briscoe was volunteering his time at the Cunningham Motorsports shop, sweeping floors and learning as much as possible about the behind the scenes workings of an ARCA Racing Series team. He was there, because he had no sponsorship to race, and he wanted to stay in touch with racing.

Then Kerry Scherer and Briggs Cunningham gave him a shot behind the wheel, when a one-time sponsor stepped up with the money to field another car for the organization. That was at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis mid-season last year. In his debut ARCA Racing Series event, he started fifth and finished tenth. Continue reading

This season has been a banner year for ARCA Racing Series driver, Chase Briscoe. Leading the series point standings in his rookie season, Briscoe has earned several milestones in his first full season, with Cunningham Motorsports.

Just a year ago, Briscoe was volunteering at the organization, hoping a door would open. In 2015, Team owners, Briggs Cunningham and Kerry Scherer saw some potential in Briscoe and gave the open-wheel, sprint car racer his shot in stock cars with a two-race deal. After qualifying fifth at Lucas Oil Raceway in his series debut, Briscoe brought home a top-ten finish at tenth-place. He went on to Salem later in the season and after qualifying seventh, Briscoe finished fifth.  Continue reading

Consecutive Win Marks Cunningham’s 30th ARCA Series Victory

Count that as two in a row for ARCA Racing Series team, Cunningham Motorsports after Myatt Snider won at Toledo last weekend, Parker Kligerman took the No. 22 to Victory Lane this weekend at New Jersey Motorsports Park in the Twilight 150 presented by Unique Pretzels.

Returning to the team that gave him his “first stock car chance,” Kligerman won in a dominating way after he was fastest in both practice sessions, took the pole by more than a second and led 56 of 67 laps. This is Kligerman’s tenth career ARCA win. Continue reading
