Global Rallycross: Q&A with Joey Mancari, Director of Competition

Earlier this year as the Global Rallycross Championship was preparing for their 2013 season, there was plenty of work to do in series headquarters. One of the new additions to GRC staff for 2013 is Joey Mancari, who comes to the sport with nearly three decades of professional motorsports experience, including NASCAR’s K&N Pro Series.

Mancari is now serving as GRC’s director of competition in 2013, taking on a host of responsibilities both at and away from the track. As we prepare for the season launch, he was happy to sit down and tell us about his role in the sport, and what to expect this season. Continue reading →
