In trying to give new meaning to the term “double duty”, Patrick Staropoli went from taking a rheumatology exam at the University of Miami at 9 am this past Friday to making a beeline for Daytona ARCA testing, with Empire Racing in the afternoon. Despite getting on-track with only an hour left in the session, Staropoli still ended up top-three on the speed charts.

Much to the dismay of Matt Crafton, Johnny Sauter, Ryan Blaney and others, Kyle Busch has been unstoppable in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and untouchable at Dover International Speedway.
Busch, won for the fourth time in as many 2014 starts and posted his third victory in his last three NCWTS attempts at Dover, leading 150 of 200 laps to capture Friday’s Lucas Oil 200. Continue reading →

Grant Enfinger started off the 2014 ARCA season with a big bang at Daytona International Speedway.
He won the Lucas Oil 200 by holding off defending ARCA champion Frank Kimmel and Martinsville Speedway President Clay Campbell. Enfinger was one of the favorites heading into the race. He qualified the No. 90 Ford on the front row.
The qualifying session for the ARCA Series on Friday was proven chaotic. Bobby Gerhart won the provisional pole, but failed post-qualifying tech after ARCA officials found an illegal U-bolt on the car. He was one of five drivers whose qualifying times were disallowed, giving them provisional starting spots at the end of the field. Continue reading →
