With Saturday’s Kroger 250 we again, were able to witness excellence in the form of 17-year-old Cole Custer. Making history in 2014, Cole Custer became the youngest pole sitter ever at Gateway Motorsports park, before becoming the youngest winner in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. JR Motorsports announced they would field a Camping World Truck Series entry for ten races, for the first time in 2015 with driver, Cole Custer.

Custer’s, career began very young as he started running laps behind former Xfinity series driver Randy Lajoie’s race shop in Kannapolis, NC. From then on, Custer went on to grab multiple national titles racing quarter midgets around the country. Moving on to stock cars, he became the youngest winner in K&N Pro Series history at age 15. Joey Logano pulls out wild overtime win in Martinsville Truck race

Race runner-up Matt Crafton said Joey Logano barreled into turn one on the last restart “like he was shot out of a cannon.”

Ducking to the inside with the accelerator mashed was the move Logano, the Coors Light Pole Award winner, had to make to vault from third to first and win Saturday’s Kroger 250 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Martinsville Speedway in an event that went eight circuits past its posted distance of 250 laps. Matt Crafton Annihilates the Field in Dominant Atlanta Truck Win

There’s no let up in Matt Crafton.

The two-time defending NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion, Crafton charged to the front from his 15th-place starting position and ran away from the rest of the field in Saturday’s Hyundai Construction Equipment 200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

At the end of a 74-lap green flag run—the longest in Camping World Truck Series history at Atlanta—Crafton crossed the finish line 8.752 seconds ahead of runner-up Ty Dillon. Keystone Light Polesitter Ben Kennedy came home third, a distant 10.275 seconds behind the race winner. Continue reading →
