Dalton Sargeant Joins Cunningham Motorsports for 2017 ARCA Racing Series Championship

As the 2016 ARCA Racing Series champs, Cunningham Motorsports has a lot to celebrate at the Series banquet later this evening.  But, they certainly aren’t resting on their laurels…they are looking forward to next season, when they plan to contend for back to back championships.

The first order of business at the press conference, held in conjunction with the annual PRI show, was Jeff Clark, speaking on behalf of Ford Performance, announced that the Cunningham organization has been designated as a driver development partner with Ford Performance.

Jones Hopes to Capture Championship 4 Berth at Texas

Texas Motor Speedway is the site of many memories for Erik Jones.

In 2014, he received his diploma on the driver introductions stage prior to the June NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at the 1.5-mile track. Last season, he won his first career NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Texas and took the checkered flag again when he returned for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race in November.

Jones will try to make another Lone Star state memory by winning Saturday’s O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge at Texas Motor Speedway at 3:30 pm ET on NBC. In three career NASCAR XFINITY Series starts at TMS, Jones has finished first (spring 2015), fourth (fall 2015) and second (spring 2016). Continue reading →

Returning to Orange Show Speedway after 38 years, NASCAR K&N Pro Series West drivers will take center stage on Saturday, May 21st as teams take to the track for the first time since September 23, 1978 for the Sunrise Ford 150.

Representing Sunrise Ford Racing this weekend is the latest K&N West winner, Ryan Partridge who won at Tucson Speedway on May 7th and his teammate, Cole Rouse, who is competing for the 2016 Rookie of the Year honors. Partridge is now just four points behind series’ points leader, Todd Gilliland, while Rouse sits fourth in the point standings and six points behind last year’s series’ champion, Chris Eggleston who is third in points.  Continue reading →
