NASCAR® Partners With SportsData To Distribute Live Timing & Scoring Data

Real-Time Race Weekend Data To Be Available On Premier Sports Sites & Applications

NASCA2012-NASCARLogoR announced today a partnership with sports content provider SportsData, the U.S. subsidiary of global market leader Sportradar, to distribute its live timing and scoring data to third-party digital outlets.

SportsData, which has a customer base that includes Google®, Facebook®, Twitter® and Bleacher Report, will be the first content provider to go to market with data from the NASCAR timing and scoring feed for an entire race weekend.  Continue reading

During Budweiser Speedweeks Feb 9 – 22, the NASCAR Sprint Cup, XFINITY and Camping World Truck Series’ kick off their 2015 seasons at Daytona International Speedway. 2015 Sprint Unlimited: Who is In and Who is Out?

Lineup changes allow deeper 2014 point standing drivers to become eligible.  

Kicking off the 2015 Sprint Cup Series Season, the Sprint Unlimited features an expanded field of drivers based on new eligibility outlined by NASCAR earlier this year. On February 14th the 75-lap, non-points race airs on FOX at 8 pm ET as well as on MRN Radio and Sirius XM NASCAR Radio.

A minimum of 25 Sprint Cup drivers are eligible for this year’s Sprint Unlimited. In addition to the 2014 Chase for the Sprint Cup drivers, the field includes 2014 Pole Award winners, former Sprint Unlimited race winners and Daytona 500 pole winners who competed in the series full-time in 2014. The remaining spots go to drivers highest in 2014 Sprint Cup driver championship points, not already eligible. Continue reading
