Suárez Overcomes Penalty to Grab Fourth Consecutive Victory

After a pit road mistake, Daniel Suárez comes back with a last lap pass to win the Toyota 120 at Phoenix International Raceway.

After starting from the outside pole position, Suárez wasted no time in racing around pole sitter RubĂ©n Pardo and holding the lead until his stop for fuel on lap 46. That’s when Suárez was speeding on pit road, with a resulting pass-through penalty placing him at the end of the field.  Continue reading
