Justin Boston is finally a winner in the ARCA Racing Series. The Venturini Motorsports driver passed Grant Enfinger with 20 laps to go and held off a hard-charging Mason Mitchell to win in his 26th career series start.

Mitchell was the fastest throughout the weekend, leading both practices and winning the pole for the race.

The No. 98 car showed the speed leading most of the first 100 laps.

Mitchell started to fall back after fighting in traffic and fell back throughout the end of the Top-ten.

Enfinger and Boston were right there to pounce on the No.98, as Enfinger made his way to lead with Boston pursuing right behind. Both drivers would take some time out front, as Mitchell started to come back through the pack.

The race for the win came down to the three drivers.  Boston and Enfinger ran side-by-side for many laps, until the No. 25 car cleared the No. 90 with 20 to go for the last time.  A right front-tire went down on Enfinger’s car with 13 laps remaining.

Mitchell was right on Boston, but had to settle for runner-up, tying his best career finish.  Matt Tifft, last year’s winner Ken Schrader and John Wes Townley rounded out the top-five.

The series’ next race will be at New Jersey Motorsports Park on June 1.
