Ryan Blaney has burst onto the NASCAR scene in 2012 and from the beginning has out performed his experience
This spring, in his Nationwide series debut at Richmond Speedway, Ryan Blaney finished an impressive seventh-place. Not only did Blaney finish in the top-ten for his prime-time debut, he did it in under-funded equipment, driving for Tommy Baldwin Racing. Blaney’s Nationwide debut was only the beginning of more accomplishments and opportunities.

Blaney’s Nationwide debut opened the door for him to drive for Brad Keselowski Racing in the Camping World truck series. He went on to finish in the top-15, six out of seven starts including one win at Iowa. Blaney’s win also made him the youngest winning driver in the Camping World truck series at eighteen years old.
Ryan Blaney’s newest opportunity is to drive for Penke Racing this season with a limited schedule in the Nationwide series. Throughout this season, Blaney has seven top-ten finishes in 13 starts. To put that into perspective, Blaney has collected more top-ten finishes than Danica Patrick who has over 55 starts. On Sunday, Blaney had his best career Nationwide finish of second at Texas Motor Speedway.
Blaney just keeps knocking off finishes that are beyond his experience. He has perfomed with impressive results every time he jumps in a race car, making the most out of every opportunity and already drives like a veteran of ten years.
Fellow drivers who have raced against Blaney have already complimented him on his performance and style of racing. Kyle Busch and Denny Hamlin, two drivers at the top of the sport, compliment Blaney on the respect and experience he shows on and off the race track.
Ryan Blaney will, undoubtedly, be a force to be reckoned with in the future of NASCAR. Blaney does nothing put provide results, gain respect from competitors and get more experience. That is a deadly combination for success and Blaney shows no signs of being a one year hit. It is only a matter of time until he wins his first Nationwide race. Look for him to be running for a Nationwide or Camping World truck series championship in 2013.
Proving that he belongs in the sport, Blaney will be a driver to keep an eye on as his career moves forward. Accomplishing so much in so little time is unheard of in NASCAR today. Ryan has the maturity of a Jimmie Johnson and the talent of a young Brad Keselowski. Blaney possess the right attitude, talent and resources. Blaney’s career will only go up from here.
We are watching a future Sprint Cup champion. Yes, he will be a future Cup champion.
