With ticket deals, giveaways and the chance to win a Salem travel trailer, Charlotte Motor Speedway is giving fans plenty of reasons to get revved up about NASCAR Acceleration Weekend at the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

The fan-friendly festival will take over the NASCAR Hall Friday through Sunday, highlighted by the induction of the 2013 NASCAR Hall of Fame class, Q&As with Sprint Cup Series drivers and a bevy of entertainment for fans.

Among the displays at the NASCAR Preview 2013 on Saturday at the Charlotte Convention Center, Charlotte Motor Speedway will showcase a Salem travel trailer that will be given to one lucky fan during the Bank of America 500, courtesy of Tom Johnson Camping Center. The 30-foot trailer includes a kitchen, dinette and three sleeping areas. To enter, fans simply need to renew or purchase a camp site at Charlotte Motor Speedway before Sept. 15, 2013. Anyone who has already purchased camping in 2013 is automatically entered.

In addition, fans at NASCAR Preview 2013 can take a turn on Charlotte Motor Speedway’s popular spin-to-win wheel, with chances to take home free tickets to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series North Carolina Education Lottery 200 on May 17 or LiftMaster Pole Night on May 23. Other prizes include 1/64-scale diecast cars, camp coolers and koozies. Fans can also pose for photos with the iconic Bruton Smith trophy, given to the winner of the Coca-Cola 600 and Bank of America 500, as well as the newly designed NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race pace car.

“Whether it’s offering great ticket deals, setting up interactive fan displays or creating an unforgettable race day experience, at Charlotte Motor Speedway, we always put fans first,” said Marcus Smith, president and general manager of Charlotte Motor Speedway. “Acceleration Weekend is a family friendly event that’s a great way for fans right here in the heart of NASCAR country to get geared up for the 2013 season, and we’re excited to be part of the fun.”
